Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition

Now here's a nifty idea! I'm excited to hear these audition videos and to see the way people respond to them. The restrictions and rules of the competition tell us a great deal about the musical world at large, including public domain issues (like circumstances surrounding the Strauss Horn Concerto). A close reading of the rules is an interesting experience. It seems that the people running this competition have made every allowance for this to be a fair competition.
